The Naturecut Ideal 40 is the perfect mower for the eco-conscious home owner. Traditional gas mowers are bulky and require constant upkeep. Using a Naturcut reel mower frees you from the noise of gas mowers. The Nature cut reel mower is suitable for all North American grass types, including bermuda grass. Not recommended for Zoysia grass. The Naturcut HD uses a contact free cutting system to keep the blades sharp for up to 10 years without sharpening. Cutting height adjustable from 1.2″ to 3.5. Lightweight Unit weighs only 20 pounds and has a cutting width of 16″. The contact free blades will last 8-10 years without sharpening. Ten inch wheels increase the effectiveness of the mechanism. This Naturcut mower has a 2 year warranty.

The mower arrived promptly and was relatively easy to assemble. The installation of the cotter pins was the only difficult part.
The mower is quiet and efficient and I can manage to cut even tall grass with it. Sticks must be removed first of course. I expect to use the mower for many years.
No fumes, no noise, good exercise. Why would anyone want a conventional mower.
When I had a larger yard, I used a Black & Decker rechargeable electric mower – and a reel mower for touch-ups. That was a good combination.
